About Faktwise
Faktwise is a Shopify app for German merchants. It creates PDF invoices and e-invoices in ZUGFeRD and XRechnung format from Shopify orders.
Since 2025, businesses in Germany must be able to receive B2B e-invoices. Sending them becomes mandatory from 2027 for businesses with more than 800,000 euros turnover, and from 2028 for all.
Features: ZUGFeRD and XRechnung e-invoices, credit notes for supported refunds, reverse charge and intra-EU supply with VIES check, OSS at the destination standard rate, small business (Kleinunternehmer) and export, a cart field for VAT ID and Leitweg-ID (if the theme supports app blocks), an archive designed around GoBD, and a monthly ZIP export with PDF, XML and CSV for the tax advisor.
